Jazz Singer Karrin Allyson to Perform at GPAC
Germantown, TN - The Germantown Performing Arts Centre, in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of Memphis' World Class Jazz Series will present jazz vocalist Karrin Allyson on Friday, December 14 at 8:00 p.m. at GPAC. The New York Times has hailed Allyson as "one of the most charismatic figures and best female scat singers on tour today."
The performance is the first time that Allyson, a two-time Grammy nominee, and her quartet will perform in the Memphis area. A free lecture demonstration is also scheduled for December 14 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $30 and $35, reserved seating, and are on sale at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre Box Office in person, Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., by phone at 901-751-7500 and online at www.GPACweb.com.
