Robert Earl Keen returns to the GPAC stage confirmed as one of our favorite and greatest storytellers. One of the large contingent of talented songwriters who emerged in Texas in the 1980s and '90s, Keen strikes an unusual balance between sensitive story-portrait and raucous barroom style. His music is characterized by a sarcastic and ironic sense of humor that strongly influenced other early practitioners of alternative country music.
Setting the stage for Keen is perennial GPAC crowd pleaser Jason D. Williams, the piano great and rockabilly sensation who has been dazzling crowds live for three decades.
