Violinists Catherine McLean and Frederick Huang and flautist Marissa Liu, winners of GSO’s 2019 Concerto Competition in March 2019, will be showcased in the Germantown Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Concert. These accomplished musicians exemplify the wealth of talent in Germantown and the surrounding communities in West Tennessee.

The Germantown Symphony Orchestra, GPAC’s resident community orchestra, is a diverse, self-governed, all-volunteer organization that is a microcosm of the community it serves. The Germantown Symphony Orchestra is committed to promoting young artists and to serving the community in many ways. It performs numerous annual concerts at GPAC in its classical season, including the acclaimed Holiday Concert, and represents the city of Germantown with outreach concerts each season in many communities throughout the Mid-South.
