Béla Fleck has been nominated for Grammy Awards in more categories than any other performer. That says it all. Now we have the four original Flecktones together for a rare tour, but this is decidedly NOT a “memory lane/greatest hits” evening. Quite the contrary. The beauty is in how each musician has explored and grown his own craft and what that evolution means for the whole. While all manner of genres come into play, the result is a kind of music that only happens when the Flecktones come together.
