Ballet Memphis’ 38th season concludes with a double-bill of stunning works by master choreographers and composers. This production opens with Donizetti Variations, a joyful and energetic classical piece by legendary choreographer George Balanchine set to music by the renowned composer Donizetti. Next, Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture powerfully explores notions of God, man, and woman through contemporary ballet set to Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
