American bluegrass icon Del McCoury has been playing bluegrass for a half-century. He is the most awarded artist in Bluegrass history, winning nine IBMA Entertainer of the Year Awards. He is also the recipient of the National Heritage Fellowship Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the International Bluegrass Hall of Fame in 2011.
