Food Trucks: Just Wraps and Happy Brunch Spot
Meet us in The Grove at GPAC every Wednesday this October to enjoy food truck fare while satisfying your appetite for the arts with music and dance films on the big screen on the Highland Capital Stage. Each Appetite for the Arts will feature a small, curated artist collection from local makers. Browse handmade and original works of a variety of mediums including drawings, jewelry, sculptures, paintings, prints, and more. Items will be for sale on-site, or you will be able to contact artists to make direct purchases. Admission is free, picnics are welcome, and gates are open from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
On the Big Screen
The Wrecking Crew is a celebration of the musical work of a group of session musicians known as "The Wrecking Crew", a band that provided backup instrumentals to such legendary recording artists as Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, and Bing Crosby."
Plus, a selection of short films from the 2023 San Francisco Dance Film Fest, including documentary shorts, narratives, and experimental screendance works that represent a dynamic range of creativity with something for everyone to enjoy!
