We run, stroll, jog, amble and walk through life. No matter our pace, our feet still connect to the ground beneath us and we move forward. This semester the GPAC Youth Symphony Program displays how rooted we are in rhythm and harmony through a concert titled “Grounded” on Sunday, November 24, featuring the Mozart String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Mendelssohn String Orchestra, Chamber Strings, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra. Through works including Tchaikovsky’s Finale from "Serenade for String, “Blazon Prelude Brillante” by James Curnow, and Joseph Haydn’s Symphony 104 in D Major, the GPACYSP will present music that continues to connect us to the ground that has been trodden and the paths we have yet to take.
