On Stage with Iris Collective: "Homecoming"

GPAC and Iris Collective Present: Homecoming.

Brothers Randall and Miles Goosby return to their hometown with their close friend and pianist Zhu Wang to present a concert of iconic chamber music works in an intimate, cabaret-style setting on the stage in the Highland Capital Performance Hall. The program features William Grant Still's Suite for Violin and Piano, Beethoven's A Major Sonata for Cello and Piano, and Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor, highlighting the artistry and talent of each musician.

Randall Goosby

Violinist Randall Goosby is acclaimed for the sensitivity and intensity of his musicianship alongside his determination to make music more inclusive and accessible, as well as for bringing the music of underrepresented composers to light.

 

Miles Goosby

New York-based cellist and Juilliard master’s student Miles Goosby is a devoted chamber musician and founding member of the BECA Quartet. In addition to being an avid performer, Goosby teaches at the Third Street School of Music and has been involved with community engagement projects around New York City. 

 

Zhu Wang

Pianist Zhu Wang has won top prizes at the 2020 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, the 2024 New Orleans International Piano Competition, and the 2024 Cleveland International Piano Competition. A Curtis and Juilliard graduate, he has performed with major orchestras, in prestigious recital series, and in chamber collaborations worldwide.
