This week-long conservatory designed for adults with special needs will focus on African and Brazilian music and culture led by teaching artists Jenn King, David Hall and Wolf Murphy. Participants will ignite their creativity and gain understanding of these cultures through drumming, dance and art making. No previous experience is necessary. Creative Arts Ensemble is a multi-disciplinary experience that provides adults with special needs the opportunity to be understood and heard, to execute self-expression, to build confidence and promote self-advocacy through multimedia forms of art.
