The son of late songwriting legend John Prine, Tommy Prine grew up in Nashville surrounded by music, art, and writing. He learned to play guitar by watching his father play, eventually developing his own singular style. His music brings together a colorful patchwork of musical influences and lyrically explores existential questions and emotional experiences. His debut album This Far South is not only a long awaited introduction but a testimony to the loss, love, and growth that has defined his 20s. The album is rich and dynamic from cathartic jams to nostalgic storytelling. This concert will feature a new guest experience. Ticket holders and Tommy Prine will gather in an intimate setting on the main stage of the Duncan-Williams Performance Hall in the same configuration as our popular Jazz in the Box Series. Guests will be seated at both café-style tables and high top tables of four people. Seating is limited to 174 ticket holders.
